QuickBooks vs. MYOB vs. PeachTree

I tried to choose between three accounting programs. However, I cannot decide which one I should use. As for the user interface, I would go for PeachTree and QuickBooks. MYOB seems too old IMHO. Regarding the use for software development, I would go for QuickBooks because I think many developers use it, and the SDK can be easily downloaded. In addition, do these programs support currencies other than the dollar? Which SDK is easy to use for .NET development? TIA.

QuickBooks are very mature and much, much more popular than any other system. It is also much easier to find an accountant familiar with QuickBooks than to find an accountant familiar with either of the other two.

In terms of development, QuickBooks has a fairly strong developer community, and the integration / SDK is quite flexible. There is an official QuickBooks SDK that is fairly easy to use and available for download from the Intuit website. The forum is also a good resource:

To answer the question about the SDK (choosing an accounting package for everyday use is beyond the scope of this site), I used both Quickbooks and Peachtree; I don't know anything about MYOB. Here we go.
