How to find a file in Windows Explorer

I have an application for listing all music files on a user's computer, the Explorer button is used to quickly open Windows Explorer and select a file in Windows Explorer. I tried ShellExecute, but it does not work, the API will launch the associated application. Any Windows API can do this? Thanks in advance.
