Setting up OpenID delegation in a bare domain using Google App Engine or ZoneEdit

Background

I used to have a standard Linux hosting account for my domain with http://www.tjrobinson.net/ and http://tjrobinson.net/ displaying the same content. I used http://tjrobinson.net/ as my OpenID identifier, which, combined with the markup below, allows me to use ClaimID as my OpenID provider, but with a shorter, more portable and more convenient identifier.

<link rel="openid.server" href="http://openid.claimid.com/server" />
<link rel="openid.delegate" href="http://openid.claimid.com/tjrobinson" />

Problem

Now I have switched web hosting to Google App Engine . The problem is that I can no longer use http://tjrobinson.net/ as my OpenID, as the Google App Engine does not support bare domains.

I use ZoneEdit to host my DNS and although I can configure WebForward (301 Redirect) at http://www.tjrobinson.net/ , it does not work with OpenID delegation.

Question

Is there a way to configure OpenID delegation for a bare domain using Google App Engine or ZoneEdit (or another free service)?
