How would you implement automatic assembly and deployment of a system for Windows services. What you need to remember:
- The service must be stopped on the target machine.
- It may be necessary to create / update a service entry in the Windows registry.
- Some, but not all, may need to start services automatically.
I am ready to use TFS for this, but this is not a requirement. Target machines will always be development machines; we will not do this for production servers.
