How can I talk to Firebug from a web worker?

My web workers are becoming more complex, and I really miss Firebug access while working with them. It:

console.log("test");

Does not produce anything from the webmaster. I also tried the following:

dump("test");

And this also does not give a result.

Firefox Version:
