.Net non-blocking web server for Comet applications

I am trying to implement a Comet style application (like chat) using IronPython. While I do not need to scale to dimensions such as dimensions, it is very important that the response time is quickly illuminated. All features in Python ( Twisted , Tornado , Magnum-Py ) do not work with IronPython, often due to epoll support.

Is there a default choice in the .Net world for comet-style apps? Or a pure python implementation with long-lasting support? I tried NTornado , but the performance is currently very poor (100-1000x slower than Tornado).

Of course. Check out WebSync , a complete comet solution for .NET / IIS. To my knowledge, this is the only complete comet implementation for .NET available today. You can use the version on demand for free (to the limit) or choose a server version to host it yourself. It is also quite inexpensive, without fees, etc.
