ASP Session Variable and ASP.NET Session Variables

Well, it is an established fact that the Session object in ASP has nothing to do with the Session object in ASP.NET.

My question is this: if I have an ASP page and it calls up an ASPX page that then executes Response.Redirect on another (or the same) ASP page, will the Session variables from the original ASP page on the last ASP page be saved? Does anyone know the answer, or do I need to experiment and see?
