What quirks have you found in your favorite database?

Q: Why do we have several databases? A: Because they all suck.

So, what "function" of your favorite database made you think (or even say) "WTF ???"

For example, Oracle does not support TIME as a native type. Instead, TIME stacks up on DATE, so you should interrupt your requests.

Or "optimizer hints" that Oracle can ignore. Since they are implemented as comments in a SQL query, you will not notice when you seal them. Or when Oracle ignores them.
