Visual Studio Development Time Event Handling

I am trying to create a WPF wizard wizard in visual studio. I am successful, except that I would like to navigate the pages during development by clicking the next and previous buttons. Pages are written in xaml. I can navigate the pages by going to the properties window and changing the selected index, but I would like something to be more user-friendly. I remember that I did something similar in the winforms project, which had something to do with overriding, possibly wndproc and listening for mouse click events from the designer.

So, I was googling, and I can not imagine the right words for this.

Can anybody help!

You need to create a custom Adorner as described here . There are two walkthroughs that should help.

Ultimately, you will need to overlay a transparent button on top of your real buttons. Then, in the click handlers, you update the selected item / index.
