API for converting Voice / Audio data to text

Question

I am working on iphone applications in which I store users voice as an audio file and want to display it in text.

How will it be ... any idea about the API?

Have you seen CMU Sphinx ?

In particular, the Pocket Sphinx (written in C)

While more focused on recognition, it was used to transcribe up , so it will depend on what exactly you need:

You will have to develop a voice recognition mechanism, I'm afraid. No library that I know of can do this. In addition, the iPhone processor will probably not be powerful enough.
