SQL Server 2000, ADO 2.8, VB6

Question

How to determine if a transaction is active, that is, before the release of "Transaction Start". I want to make sure the previous transaction is not open. The platform is VB6, MS-SQL Server 2000 and ADO 2.8

You can check the @@ TRANCOUNT variable for the current database connection. It increases by 1 each time a transaction is opened.
