In what order should I perform verification and confirmation?

Sense, first I ask the user to confirm the save or first confirm the form?

Consider two cases: in the first, the check is really quick, in the second, the check can take a couple of seconds. Do you change the order?

Edit: the button does not act as a “save”, but performs a “delete”, therefore confirmation is required.
