Visual Studio Error List Hidden

Question

I am using Visual studio 2008 and for some reason, when I started today, my code does not compile. I get a standard “Build Failed” message, but the error list is not displayed. when I select "Error List" in the "View" menu, nothing happens.

The output window displays fine, and this also makes the window.

Has anyone seen this before?

This is new to me.

Go to Tools> Import and Export Settingsand export all your settings to a file for safe storage.
