With PHP / GD, how do I crop an image?

I want to simulate the behavior of cropping Photoshop (crop an area covered by the same color on all sides) using GD and PHP , but I lack an idea on how to do this.

If someone knows how to do this, I would really like to hear it.

The easiest solution I can think of is:

  • Find out the color of the top left pixel.
