Symbian - Where can I find the calendar file specification?

I want to write an application for synchronizing Symbian calendars with my own software, where can I find the specification for a file where Symbian writes all entries to the calendar?

What you need is an API in the Symbian calendar. Although there is a calendar database as the actual file, it is unlikely that you will be able to access this file directly.
