Does Psyco use any meaning with django?

I know the benefits of Psyco for a desktop application, but in a web application where a process (= web page or AJAX call) dies immediately after being fired, isn't that pointless?

Firstly, as Grimbler and Ibrahim mentioned, your process will not die unless you use pure CGI ... which you should not use.

Secondly, the bottleneck in most web applications is database queries, for which Psyco will not help.
