When a user has several Firefox extensions, what determines the order in which they are initialized? In particular, in what order are XUL overlays applied? In most cases, the order is not important, but it affects things such as the order in which items are displayed in the Tools menu, for example, or in the status bar. In addition, the ability to rely on the knowledge that extension A will be initialized before extension B can sometimes simplify coding.
I cannot find this in any documentation, so any understanding would be very welcome. Many thanks.
