The Amazon App does this and Fandango seems to be the same, but has anyone tried to secure the purchase of real goods (books, food, etc.) from the iphone app?
Another publication mentions the PayPal API as technically feasible, although it is likely to be rejected by Apple. An in-app purchase clearly indicates the sale of real goods using this mechanism.
Another option I'm looking at is to fill out the cart from the app and redirect to the web page in the mobile safari for payment.
Has anyone been able to implement this type of process and get it from Apple?
