FlashDevelop (Flex / AS3) and localized compiler messages

I am completely unfamiliar with all the FlashDevelop / Flash / etc software, but would like to do some experimentation. I installed the FlashDevelop and Flex SDK on my laptop and I think that everything turned out just fine, except for one thing: the compiler messages are localized!

Messages like "gebruik van een niet-gedefinieerde eigenschap" (Dutch) limit my productivity. I don’t recognize them because they don’t look like what I’m used to in any other programming environment, because in the correct sentence they have even less meaning than error messages in English, and I certainly can’t use them correctly.

Now I have already seen a couple of xml and java / mxmlc / fcsh / etc config files that I can configure, but so far nothing has helped.

Please help me restore sanity and ru_US / 1033 / etc! Thanks...

Change . Setting up my Windows locale to English through the control panel and then restarting FlashDevelop led to English error messages from Flex. So cheers, I have a useful workaround. Anyway, I would like these two not to be connected with each other, although the developer constantly played with these settings.

Scroll to Tools | Program Settings(press F10) and select Flash Developfrom the left panel. Scroll down to the title Misc- the last option Selected Locale. If en_US does not exist, you have a problem - you may have to download the correct version of the locale again.
