Visual Studio 2008 Express Edition - line numbers not displayed?

In Visual Studio 2008 Express Edition, numbers are no longer displayed next to lines. I looked in the settings and can’t find anything. Any ideas?

This parameter is under Text Editor -> All Languages -> General, check the parameter Line Numbers.

I just checked my Visual Web Developer 2008 Express Edition:

Tools → Options → Line numbers (check box)
