Access to the view of the child control

I want to extract information in the view of a child control. This control is owned by a third party and I do not have access to the source code. Is it possible?

View state is saved as base64. If you can get the client identifier of the control; you can infer it from Form.Post ["__ VIEWSTATE"] by decrypting it and processing it there.
