As a developer, is it worth asking anonymous feedback from colleagues?

G'day

I always try to improve my work as a developer, and after listening to this interesting podcast on this topic, I was wondering if people think it is worth asking their colleagues for help.

I am thinking of getting anonymous anonymity as suggested in the podcast using the Rypple website . And asking one short question that directly affects a specific aspect of my work or behavior. For example, I consider issues such as:

  • What can I do to improve the collaboration of the development team and collaboration?
  • How can I help you work in your work with our main client?
  • What parts of my technique could I improve on the basis of the presentation I gave today?
  • and etc.

Edit: I'm not talking about general aspects, but specifically about how my productivity as a developer can be improved. Communicating and working with others is a big part of working with other people in a company.

Edit: These additional questions relate to the comment on my original JB King question.

Other examples of possible questions that could provide useful feedback to help you improve your developer's work:

  • Am I getting too focused or intrusive in my toolbox for a solution?

The good question I found was to ask: "Would you recommend this application to someone else?" and start a conversation there.
