Windows Forms Designer destroys form layout

This morning I came across a strange problem in the Windows Forms Designer of Visual Studio. I have a form that works for about a month without changes. In the application, it looks like this:

(the text is made unreadable because I'm not quite sure of the legal consequences here).

Now, starting today, apparently (I think that yesterday the designer had an open form without any problems), the designer looks like this:

Looking at the difference, each control (or almost everyone - the labels were not affected, but this may be due to AutoSize) got a width of 311 pixels. Lines like the ones below are common to the entire file after the designer has contacted it:

Do you do manual layout or binding to OnPaint form designers or methods? I once had a similar problem, because I tried to manually change the positions of some elements, and the developer was missing an invalid ClientRectangle (or something else) when rendering.
