Mantis - Add Version Field

Question

Is it possible to have a version number for each defect / problem raised in Mantis and track its value throughout the life of the defect?

e.g. v0.1 - Reported a problem v0.2 - Assigned a problem v0.5 - Issue resolved v0.6 - Issue closed

I have never used custom fields in Mantis - can they be used for this purpose?

There are 3 version fields in MantisBT 1.2

• Product version - in which version the problem occurs
