Where ASP.NET MVC doesn't match Ruby on Rails, CakePHP, etc. and etc.?

I work quite extensively with ASP.NET MVC, and I find it extremely useful (compared to WebForms), however I have some experience with other MVC frameworks, and I feel that there are certain gaps in capabilities.

First, in Drupal, you can connect to almost anything and override it. for example, you can connect to a Drupal function that records the title and adds custom content. I do not see such a possibility in ASP.NET MVC.

Where is ASP.NET MVC not yet compared to Spring.NET, RoR, CakePHP, etc. . I am concerned that ASP.NET MVC is WebForms 2.0 and, ultimately, it is going to wear it out to greet in the same way, so I would be better off moving to a different framework for long-term.

Sincerely.
