How to fake "Multitouch" for Windows Mobile?

Here is an idea:

I have two panels with MouseDown events. The idea that I had was to have a timer that would enable the panels to turn on and off every tenth of a second.

I was hoping that the MouseDown event would be captured by one panel, and then I would be able to read eX and eY events, and then the MouseDown event would be captured by another panel by the next timer event.

It will be true MultiTouch, but it may be enough to have fun. But this does not work in practice.

My assumption is that this method does not allow working at the hardware level. But I wanted to make sure that someone else had no idea how to perform "Hack Multitouch"

Any ideas?

The short answer is that it just won't work.

For multi-touch, you must have hardware to support (capacitive tocuhscreen). There is simply no way to make a resistive touch screen (which is on your WinMo device) "see" Two touches. Instead, it simply provides the average of all touches.
