Is it possible to test a WAP site without using a mobile phone?

Question

I was wondering if this is possible to do through a browser or emulator.

When I try to use it in my browser, I get "Unknown file type text / vnd.wap.wml"

There are several WAP simulators available; online example www.wapsilon.com . Google is your best friend tho :)

You can try one of the WAP emulators: dotMobi or wapsilon , for example.

I would not release it without testing it in real life, though .
