Why is auth_key empty?

Question

I created a flex based application and downloaded it in vkontakte . For some reason, the auth-key parameter (on flashes) is empty, how did it happen?

When editing application settings, you must "pay" on the "Payments" tab. Then the auth_key parameter will be populated.
