Add header to WCF REST request - EnvelopeNone does not support adding message header exceptions

Question

I am trying to add a custom header to a wcf client by hitting a standard RESTful endpoint. I am trying to add some kind of header that just allows me to track requests from one level to another. This is how I tried to implement it:

Then I configure the client successfully, but when it is executed, I get the following exception: System.InvalidOperationException: Envelope Version 'EnvelopeNone ( http://schemas.microsoft.com/ws/2005/05/envelope/none )' does not support adding headers messages.

Anyone have any suggestions on how to insert this little barium flour?
