Interwoven Teamsite Integration in SharePoint for Content Management

I am working on a roadmap to redesign our corporate intranet, and I am stuck in a tough content management solution.

We have licenses for Interwoven TeamSite , and we use it to manage our content for our external website, our main intranet, and a couple of large internal knowledge exchanges.

I probably recommend Microsoft SharePoint Server 2007 for the main intranet platform. Yesterday, I saw a demo of a large SharePoint-based intranet with Microsoft CMS for content management, and I would like to do something similar, except using our current installation of Interwoven.

Does anyone have experience with this type of integration? Any "gotchas" or lessons learned from Interwoven and SharePoint integration?

No! Do not do this! SharePoint WSS 3.0 used crappy CM, so Microsoft's best practice was to use MS ECM together. Since 2007, MS has built the CM platform in SharePoint. You will have a very difficult time deleting the MS ECM and including something else in it. In addition, Interwoven is not a first quarter product. If you use it in your company, start moving away from it. OpenText and MS offer much better solutions.
