What naming conventions should be followed when assigning names? For example, what should be the name for CodeActivity, which sends an email to the user.
There is no real agreement. My general advice is to use meaningful names for people who are looking at a workflow diagram, as that’s all they need to see what the activity is doing.
I would name the meaningful name that Maurice was talking about, but also, I would call the suffix operation.
SendMailActivity.
