IFrame summarization issue - asp.net c #

Question

One of our applications will be launched in the iframe, inside salesforce, and I am having problems accessing the referrer. They would like us to do some reviewer checks to make sure the request comes from salesforce, and we are given IP addresses for verification.

My problem is that at any time I try to access the referrer in one of the following two ways:

HttpContext.Current.Request.ServerVariables["HTTP_REFERER"]
HttpContext.Current.Request.UrlReferrer

it returns me null.

Any ideas on how I can get a referent?

PS: I know that you can deceive the essay, but this is part of the requirement.
