Mono OSX Experience

I am a .NET web developer and just bought a new Mac.

I'm interested in developing and debugging .NET in OSX, but I'm not interested in deploying in OSX. Although, in the future, I will be interested in deploying to Linux.

What are your experiences with developing Mono websites on OSX?

In particular, how it is compared in terms of Mono web development on Windows, as well as Visual Studio 2008 web development on Windows.

I am particularly interested in OSX web development experience, i.e. the IDE and debugging experience.

But I also want, perhaps, to develop and debug a cross-platform, but only windows, services ... how will this work from the point of view of development in OSX?

cool welcome guys

EDIT

Please note that I'm not interested in any emulation, only a native OSX developer using any available in the Mono IDE.
