We are considering ways to reduce costs, and one of my ideas was to push our customer accounts to the Bill Pay systems used by banks (and other sites). The only thing I do not know how to do this? My past searches did not display any information for the company.
Can someone point me in a productive direction? Is there one clearing center for this, or do you need to do something with each site?
Read more: We are a local government that sends out utility bills every month. We currently offer ACH and online bill payment options (through our website). But so many (or so it seems) people using the free bill payment that banks now offer would be a great option to push their accounts to those who would like to use this option. If it is economically viable, that is.
