How to debug ISAPI using Visual Studio

as a title, my friendly environment is a Windows 2003 server. He attached the IIS process and set breakpoints in the codes that should be executed, but VS doesn't stop at all. ISAPI is written in VC ++.

Is there a setting that it should configure?

Thanks.

Visual studio can debug various types of Code: Native, Script, Managed, Silverlight, etc. You need to make sure that when attaching, the Attach To: field contains "Native code".

You also need to make sure that you are connecting to the correct instance of w3wp.exe, if there is more.

Visual Studio Remote Debugger .

You can use a tool like Process Explorer to help you determine which process has the extension / filter loaded so that you can connect to the right one.
