Mouse control in linux

I mainly use the wiiuse library to run wiimote on Linux. I now want to control the mouse through the IR readings.

Can someone point me in the right direction, how to approach this? I know about uinput, but there seem to be not many tutorials / manuals on the Internet.

I work with c / C ++, so a library in c / C ++ will be useful.

Greetings.

In the end, I decided to simply draw โ€œcursorโ€ objects on the screen and use the settings of each input device to control a separate โ€œcursorโ€ object. This seemed like a better idea since we were short in time.
