Question

I would like to determine which of the two layouts below is the best layout. I would like usability to be the main issue. Which one is better (in terms of usability) and why is it better?

Gun

Use as wide a horizontal screen as possible without creating horizontal scrolling. The obvious advantage is that vertical scrolling will be minimized / eliminated, and screen real estate will be maximized.

Sequential

One input per line. The downside is that there can be significantly more scrolling than a Shotgun layout.
