A simple virtual system for delphi - should be FREE!

Question

my application stores information about some files analyzed in a given directory ... it creates one file for each file found in the directory, so there can be any number ... I need to store these created files separately, but it is not a good idea to place them as if ... so I'm looking for some kind of virtual file system that would allow me to save these files in one, but it should be as easy to use as a “real” file system. Performance is also very important ... Any tips here? :)

According to others, there are several different options.

Here I played in the past.

GpStructuredStorage is "a complex file (structured storage, file system inside the file)"). BSD License.

This may be what you are looking for.

Two words: Structured storage !

1) It is free.
2) This is part of the Microsoft operating system.
3) It is used by many other applications with good results.
