Books and Tutorials on Windows Services in C #?

What are some good resources for creating / deploying Windows services, i.e. (books and / or textbooks). What do people usually use for reference? Is there a simple step by step resource that can be easily used?

There are not many books because writing a Windows service in C # is pretty trivial. It is not much more than this .

The Windows service code should just be a thin layer to load the features that you want to open as a service.

For the same reason, you will not find many books on writing console applications in C #.
