OK Stupid question .....
I get almost a day when I work on an MVC site and then published it.
After that, hell began.
I am using Windows 7, Visual Studio 2008 and MVC.
I published it, and at first Default.aspx did not appear. I gave up playing with this for a few, and just did the easy thing by typing default.aspx. I will fix this problem later. So, I clicked on one of my navigation buttons, which worked very well in IIS internal development before, and I get 404 error. I spent two days surfing on Microsoft support forums and on any other support forum that I can find.
No fix.
So, I tried something completely different. Just to see if I messed up. I created a new TestMVC application. Set the output to a website in local IIS. Compiled and after entering in default.aspx (it was installed as the launch file in the project), I then clicked on the About button in the MVC base application. And what will I get? 404.
I know this is new guys, but this is crazy. What is this process that would make every effort to fix this, especially since it works on a test server.
