I am creating a webapp, and I need it so that users can view Word / Excel / PPT files in a browser (these files are stored on the server side). This will allow them to quickly view a document without having to download it and launch Microsoft Office.
Pretty much looking for the browse feature for email attachments in Gmail. I assume that Google is somehow transforming document formats into images and displaying them in a browser.
Is there a way to do this in OpenOffice?
