How to convert a site created in FrontPage to standard HTML

Does anyone know how easy it is to create a website created on the MS homepage and convert it to a working html standard without any access that FP inserts there?

I have a site that was created in FP, which works fine in IE (of course), but for which links do not work in any of the other browsers. I was involved in this after that, so I already know about all the reasons why FP should be avoided.

But now that we are now, does anyone know of a less painful path?
