Is "English" or "en" the preferred .lproj folder name now?

In the Apple documentation and the sample code, I see lproj folders whose names are named with the language name, such as "English", and with the ISO 639 code, for example, "en".

What is the ultimate naming requirement? I could not find him.

If not, what are the advantages and disadvantages of each type of name?
