CSS content for Adobe Acrobat Reader

Is there a way to place CSS-div content on top of an embedded Adobe Acrobat Reader session?

I tried with CSS z-index: -1; on iframe Acrobat Reader launches but no luck.

Any suggestions?

You can do this by laying the reader on <iframe>, like on other plugins and <select>. Also, setting the wmode parameter of the embed tag (if you use it) before transparent. Not sure about the latter, but it works for Flash and Silverlight.
