ADO.NET Data Services or Entity Infrastructure - Which One to Find Out?

I have some free time and plan to catch up with some new technologies. I started my .NET development career as an ASP.NET developer. I am currently finished developing ASP.NET, and in this regard I am doing everything with the development of the interface. These days I am doing business level and DAL development, focusing on developing WCF service, and I am going to continue to do so. Given a situation in which it would be useful for me to move forward? ADO.NET or Entity Framework data services?
