Read information from garmin

I want to extract such information (longitude, latitude, location name) from garmin maps and use the database of this information in my java web application. but I don’t know how to extract information about a region, such as a city from a garmin map, like text or binary. If anyone knows about this, please help me.

Garmin maps are copyright protected binaries. Retrieving this data without a license is illegal. Do not do that.

The information you are looking for may be available on the USGS website for free in a convenient text format: http://geonames.usgs.gov/domestic/

Alternatively, consider using one of the best google or yahoo geolocation APIs.
