Is ninject considered container?

I talked with someone and mentioned that I was learning IOC and used ninject to feel something.

He asked which container I use? I told him ninject.

Not knowing what he meant, I know that Windsor Castle products are more popular.

Can someone clarify this for me? What am I missing here?
