Failed to install WCF HTTP Activation on Windows Vista?

This is only connected with remote development, but basically I wanted to install the MS Azure SDK, which relies on the installed IIS 7, ASP.Net, as well as on the working installation of the WCF HTTP Activation component.

Now, after an article on MSDN , I always get the following error:

Does anyone have an idea of what I am missing or what should I do? The error message is not very self-evident, and I got a little lost here. The wise Vista software version is SP2, Visual Studio 2008 SP1 and .Net 3.5 SP1 are also installed.

Update: About and Visual Studio 2010 / .Net 4 beta. Could something do with this later?

Any ideas / suggestions?

Final deal: when installing the beta version of .Net 4.0 for any reason, it also overwrites at least one of your .Net 3.0 (WCF) files, at least on 64-bit systems, namely

"c: \ windows \ microsoft.net \ framework64 \ v3.0 \ Windows Communication Foundation \ SMConfigInstaller.EXE".

Thus, the bad part, with this new version, you will no longer be able to activate the WCF HTTP Activation Vista and Win7 activation function, and even worse - remove .Net 4 beta does not restore the original version.
