Can I use MS Enterprise Library protocols for multiple applications?

I wonder if it is possible - a); b) is it good practice to register several applications in one copy of the journal?

I have several ASP.NET applications, and I would like to consolidate all exceptions into a central location that can be requested as part of the Enterprise Dashboard application. I use both the EL registration block and the EL exception blog along with the Trace Database listener. I would like to see exceptions in all applications registered in one db.

Any comments, recommendations or answers to best practices would be greatly appreciated.
