Aspect-oriented programming in r: Are any libraries available?

Are there any packages of R-projects that implement AOP? Or even better is an example R package that uses any such AOP library.

I explored this topic about six months ago. Here is what I found (which I checked / updated when looking at your question):

There is one package , I know that it is specifically / specifically designed for AOP (and which, as predictably, is associated with event monitoring / logging) --called ' r-connect .' As far as I know, not available in CRAN. At the moment, I have not used it enough to give you useful feedback. To check svn:

"svn checkout http://r-connect.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/ r-connect-read-only"
